Something happened this week that brought back lots of memories from the 1990's. In particular some of the tricks and tactics news organizations and large media outlets use to fluff stories towards whatever end they wish to achieve.
In short, don't sit around waiting to be discovered or "put on" by some famous brand or group. If a news outlet calls you they want something from you. They are not your friend. And they don't respect you.
The hustle can come in the form of a story that makes you look like dog-shit, with lots of errors or quotes taken out of context. Or it can come in the form of Harvey Weinstein bending you over at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Regardless of whatever rationalization you think makes you special? Dance with the devil. You're taking it up the ass.
